What is an EAP?
Very simply, an EAP is a program to help employees and their families solve personal and work place problems which affect their health, personal well-being and job performance.
Why do we have an EAP?
Your company cares about the health of its employees and their families. That's why it has contracted AEAS to provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at no cost to you or your family.
Is an EAP confidential?
YES! All of your records kept by AEAS will be strictly confidential. Your employer or supervisor will not receive any information about the AEAS counseling services that you or your family use.
What professional services will AEAS offer?
We will offer options to explore and help you prepare an action plan that may include educational literature, EAP visits, referral for outside counseling, support groups, or community programs.
Is AEAS a local program?
Our counselors are local professionals with expertise in alcohol and other drug abuse services, crisis intervention and mental health services. In addition we have knowledge of many area resources available for you and your family.
